DEATH: HOWARD ROBERT LO

Howard Robert Low, 63, of Boise, passed away Tues., April 14, 1992 of cancer in a Boise hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon Monday, April 20 at the Boise, Idaho 33rd Ward LDS Chapel, 8620 Goddard Road, Boise. Bishop Clair Workman of the Boise 33rd Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 1992, Paris City Cemetery, Paris, Idaho. Services are under the direction of the Relyea Funeral Chapel, Boise.Howard was born July 29, 1928 at Paris, Idaho to Morris David and Beatrice Lenore Gardiner Low. He attended school in Montpelier and Soda Springs, Idaho. In 1949 he received a B.A. degree from the University of Utah and in 1960 a Masters in music education degree from Indiana University. Howard taught music in public schools for 26 years including at Boise High School from 1970 to 1976, after which he worked as a real estate agent until 1984. From 1984 to the time of his death, he was an agent with New York Life Insurance Co.
Mr. Low married Mona Joan Bunnell August 17, 1956 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church where he served in many positions of leadership, teaching and music. He served as an officiator in the Boise LDS Temple for four years.
Survivors include his wife, Mona; a daughter, Christine Andrews, son-in-law, Bennie Andrews; a grandson, Lee Andrews, granddaughter, Katinka Andrews; two brothers, Gordon Low, Provo; D. Stewart Low, Highland; and one sister, Myrle Low, Salt Lake City.
The family will greet friends at the Goddard Rd. LDS Chapel, Monday from 11 a.m. until service time, and also in the Relief Society Room following the services.
