Rex Goddard Bachman 1925 - 1987

 
Farmington - Rex G. Bachman, age 61 died January 23, 1987 in the LDS Hospital of Cancer.

Born June 18, 1925 in Ogden, Utah to Joseph Rexel and Elizabeth Stanford Goddard Bachman.
Married Barbara Johnson, June 19, 1946 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Graduated from Ogden High and the University of Utah School of Business Magna Cum Laude.

Entered the U.S. Army, 1943 and served with the American Infantry Division in the Southwest Pacific. He was wounded in 1944 and awarded the Purple Heart. He was employed by Hercules for 23 years where he was a CPA and accounting supervisor. He was a High Priest in the Farmington 14th Ward.
Survived by; wife, Farmington; three sons and two daughters; Rex G. Bachman Jr., North Ogden; Robert W. Bachman, Centerville; Brad J. Bachman, Farmington; Mrs. Donald (Nancy) Tripp, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Wayne (Shauna) Klein, Boise, Idaho; ten grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. David B. (Margaret) Handy, Ogden. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one grandchild.
Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
