Christine Kohler was born 13 February 1833, Graben, Baden Germany to Johann Martin Kohler and Christina Scholl. She married Friedrich Zimmermann (who was born 27 July1823) on 20 March 1851 in Graben, Karlsruhe, Baden, Germany. Her first 6 children were born in Graben. Her last two were born in America.
